On Friday May 8th the FCVFRA Fire Police received a $5000 donation from Fout Crane & Rigging in Frederick. Over the past 12 months they have also received donations from The Great Frederick Fair, The Gran Fondo National Series Bike event, and the Friends of Cunningham Falls State Park & Gambrill State Park. In total the Fire police have received over $11,000 dollars for supporting events that occur here in Frederick County and Frederick City.
The support that the FCVFRA Fire Police provide to the Department of Fire and Rescue Services in Frederick County, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office and the Frederick City Police Department allows all of these agencies to concentrate on their primary functions. The Fire Police operate on a limited budget from the county so these donations go a long way to supplement the equipment needed to provide their services.
