Our volunteers are dedicated and professional gearing up everyday!

We are mechanics, bankers, retail store employees. We are in real estate, car sales and the fast-food industry. We build houses, farm and drive trucks. If you need a shirt embroidered, we can do that too. We are students and educators. We work on the beach selling necklaces. We are married and divorced. My family does this with me. We are active-duty military, paid firefighters in other counties and neighboring departments. Some of us have been doing this for as long as 40 years and others as short as 3 months. We are sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mommies and daddies. We are grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins. We are strangers who become friends!

Volunteer firefighters play a critical role in protecting communities from fires and other emergencies. These dedicated individuals offer their time and skills to supplement the efforts of full-time, career firefighters, ensuring that local fire departments have the resources and
manpower necessary to respond to calls for help. From extinguishing fires to assisting in rescue operations, volunteer firefighters perform a diverse set of duties that help keep communities safe. We do this because we care!
