Saturday April 18, 1925 Fire of unknown origin completely destroyed the two-story frame residence and adjoining grocery store of Miss Rebecca Payne, situated near the upper railroad yard, one mile west of Brunswick, about 12:15 o’clock this morning. The Brunswick Volunteer Fire Department responded promptly with their automobile engine, but because of lack of water, both buildings and practically all of their contents were burned to the ground. |
