The Frederick County Builders Association held its 28th annual home show this past weekend at the Frederick Fairgrounds.
The show was held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
More than 200 exhibitors were on hand to show the latest in home building techniques and answered questions about home construction. Representatives from remodeling companies, mortgage firms, banks and landscaping companies, as well as many other home-related fields were on hand to help visitors decide what they may want to do with their homes, from minor repairs to major additions.
The event also included the annual Builder Olympics which brings together students and student teams to compete in masonry, landscaping, carpentry, heat/ventilation/air conditioning and plumbing.
The show draws thousands of visitors each year.
Frederick County Volunteer Fire Prevention and Gear Up were present during the Home Show. We had a great time educating the public and meeting new candidates. Thank you to all who made this a successful weekend!
